Privacy Policy

Introduction

CLZTR connects people with nearby events, crowds, friends, and chats. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the CLZTR mobile app and related services.

Information we collect

We collect account and profile details you provide, contact details, username, avatar, bio, role or host verification information, support requests, reports, preferences, and wallet or transaction records for CLZTR features.

Location and presence

With permission, we process precise location, device, and presence signals to show nearby events and crowds, validate live presence, support safety, share location with eligible friends, and prevent fraud. You can change location permissions in device settings and CLZTR privacy controls.

Liveness and identity

When you complete a presence check, the liveness analysis runs on your device: camera frames are processed by the app and are not uploaded. We keep the result of each check (pass or fail, a quality score, the time, and device identifiers), not the images, together with your presence record for up to 45 days.

When you verify your identity, we process a photograph of an official identity document. We do not photograph you, and we never compare your face to the photograph on your document. Failed uploads are deleted within 24 hours. Document evidence is deleted seven days after a decision, and within thirty days if no decision is ever made; a hold for an appeal, a fraud or safety review, or a legal obligation pauses that deletion and is itself capped at twelve months. A decision record without images is kept for 5 years for fraud prevention and legal defence. We do not sell biometric information and we do not use it to identify you across other services.

Content and communications

We process events, clusters, hashtags, media uploads, chat messages, reactions, invites, reports, and moderation actions so those features work and remain safe.

How we use information

We use information to operate, personalize, secure, moderate, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve CLZTR, send service notifications, enforce our terms, comply with law, and protect users, partners, and the public.

Sharing

We share information with service providers who process it on our instructions and under contract: Supabase (sign-in and sessions), Google Cloud Platform (hosting, databases, storage), Cloudflare (media delivery and realtime connections), RevenueCat together with the Apple App Store and Google Play (subscriptions, when enabled), Expo Application Services with Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications), Google ML Kit (on-device face detection and text recognition; nothing leaves your device), Sentry (crash diagnostics without message content or precise location, when enabled) and Stripe (payments, when enabled). We also share information with event hosts or other users when a feature requires it, with authorities when legally required, and with successors in a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep information only as long as the feature, your account, safety, legal, audit and fraud-prevention purposes require, then delete or de-identify it. Current schedule: presence and check-in records 45 days; identity-verification evidence as described above; raw analytics events 30 days and aggregated statistics 12 months; chat messages, events, clusters and media until you delete them, the event or cluster completes its lifecycle, or your account is deleted; account data until 14 days after you request deletion, after which every service removes it. Where a law requires a longer period we keep only what that law requires.

Choices and rights

You can update profile details and preferences, control device permissions, disable notifications, use in-app privacy controls, and request access, correction, deletion, or export by contacting service@clztr.com. Some requests may require verification.

Children, transfers, and changes

CLZTR is not intended for children under the minimum age required by local law. Your information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate. We may update this policy; the in-app version and effective date show the current policy.
